Returns Policy

1. General Return Policy

Plantec ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") provides this Returns Policy to outline the terms and conditions under which customers may return products purchased from our store. This policy applies to all physical equipment including GNSS receivers, laser scanners, machine control systems, and related accessories.

We stand behind the quality of our products and want to ensure complete customer satisfaction. All returns are subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this policy.

2. 14-Day No-Reason Return Period For Unused Products

No-Questions-Asked Returns

You may return any product within fourteen (14) calendar days of delivery for any reason, without the need to provide justification, provided the product is unopened and in original condition.

  • The 14-day period begins on the day you receive the product
  • No restocking fees apply to returns within this period
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the product is defective
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or was shipped in error

3. Condition Requirements

To be eligible for return, products must meet the following conditions:

3.1 Physical Condition

  • Product must be in original, unused condition
  • All original packaging, accessories, and documentation must be included
  • Product must be free from damage, modifications, or signs of use
  • Serial numbers and warranty seals must be intact and unaltered

3.2 Packaging Requirements

  • Original manufacturer packaging and protective materials
  • All included cables, software, manuals, and accessories
  • Original shipping box in good condition (if available)

4. Defective Product Returns

If you receive a defective product, we will provide a full refund or replacement at your choice, regardless of the 14-day return period.

Defective Product Coverage

  • Manufacturing defects present at time of delivery
  • Products that fail to function as specified
  • Damage occurring during shipping
  • Products shipped in error or not matching the order

For defective products, we will cover all return shipping costs and provide a prepaid return label.

5. Return Process

Step 1: Initiate Return Request

Contact our customer service team at support@plantec.com or call +44 1924 910 533 to initiate your return request. Please provide:

  • Order number
  • Product model and serial number
  • Reason for return
  • Preferred resolution (refund or exchange)

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed return instructions within 24 hours of your request.

Step 3: Package and Ship

Carefully package the product using original packaging and ship to the address provided. Include the RMA number prominently on the outside of the package.

Step 4: Processing

Upon receipt, we will inspect the returned product and process your refund or exchange within 5-7 business days.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Credit card refunds may take 3-5 business days to appear on your statement.

6.2 Refund Amount

  • Full purchase price for products returned within 14 days
  • Original shipping costs refunded only for defective products
  • Return shipping costs deducted from refund unless product is defective

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-configured or specially ordered equipment
  • Software licenses (once activated)
  • Products damaged by misuse, abuse, or normal wear
  • Products missing serial numbers or warranty seals
  • Products returned after 30 days without prior authorization

8. Warranty and Returns

This Returns Policy is separate from and in addition to any manufacturer warranties. Returning a product does not void warranty coverage for replacement products or affect your rights under applicable warranty terms.

For warranty service, please refer to the manufacturer's warranty documentation included with your product or contact our technical support team.

9. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this Returns Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically for updates.
